WebSight Design Inc. (WSD) recently assisted in the launch of a new real estate blog for Jim Walberg of The Bay Area Team.
We originally met Jim in 2013 when he joined Pacific Union, whose CEO was Mark McLaughlin, a longtime client and friend of WebSight Design. Mark and his executive team were partnering with top-performing realtors in each of the San Francisco Bay Area’s nine counties. With a real estate track record spanning decades, Jim and The Bay Area Team were clearly among the top producers in Contra Costa County, servicing communities such as Danville, Alamo, Blackhawk, and Lafayette.
Ranked in the Top 1% of REALTORS® nationwide, Jim began building luxury-spec homes in 1974. He later became a partner in a brokerage in Danville, California. In 2005 Jim and his wife, Ann Marie Nugent, formed The Bay Area Team. They are now part of the national real estate brokerage, Compass.
Jim specializes in luxury sales in The East Bay, but he and his team also have a national and global network of real estate professionals that allows their clients to connect with professionals almost anywhere they are considering a real estate purchase; nationally, in Europe, Latin America and the Caribbean.
In addition to being an experienced realtor, Jim is a fascinating human being, full of zest and curiosity for life. He is an avid sportsman, runner, biker, and sailor. He is also a cancer thriver. WSD is proud to support Jim's annual Cycle for Survival to raise money for rare cancer research at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center (MSK).
Jim’s enthusiasm for life bleeds into technology and marketing. WSD has enjoyed a running "tech rapport" with Jim for over a decade. Together, the WSD Team and The Bay Area Team (TBAT) continue to iterate successful digital solutions. The latest of these is TBAT's new real estate blog. The TBAT editorial team keeps the content fresh and relevant. WSD ensures the blog loads quickly, looks good on mobile, and is easy to use.
Jim's recent blog posts include
Does Location Matter When Buying a House?
Why Are People Moving to Contra Costa County?
Where's Walberg?
Jim's editorial perspective is as authentic as he is. One of my favorites is Jim's "Where's Walberg?" column. It's a play on Where's Waldo? – a series of children's puzzle books by Martin Handford, first published in 1987. The spots are informative, hip, engaging, and truly unique, just the kind of content that Google and Answer Engine bots love to crawl!
San Damiano Retreat Center in Danville
The Danville Bowling Alley
My favorite home we ever built in Blackhawk
WSD has travelled a long and productive road with Jim. We designed our first site for The Bay Area Team in 2014, and our second site for them in 2021. In addition to periodic re-launches, Jim and his team invest their time into regular website / digital asset fine-tuning – a crucial component of "keeping up with the algorithms." Their 5 star Google Business Profile, with 150 testimonials, is a testament to their impact on their customers' lives.
We look forward to many more years of collaboration and learning with The Bay Area Team!
